We keep a variety of honeybees- Italians, Carnolians, Minnesota Hygienics and Buckfasts.  They each have unique strengths and attributes and all work to pollinate the fruits and vegetables on the farm and to store sweet honey. 

Our lighter colored honey is Spring Flow, extracted during the summer, and is the result of the early blooming flowers.  

The darker honey is called Late Flow, and is extracted in the fall.

Bottles with hi-flow spout lids provide less mess of that sticky goodness and are available in 8oz and 1lb sizes.

* Over time, unprocessed honey will crystallize. To eliminate crystals, slowly warm the honey bottle in a water bath until the crystals dissolve.
